          Same thing happened to me. I received a call from the Manila Banker several occasions and they’re really “makulit” telling you that you were chosen/won and claim the reward in their office. It’s good that I’m lazy to go to Makati area because of the heavy traffic until I research and google their company and I was surprise that this is a life insurance company and I saw negative comments. Thank you lord for guiding me.

            sa akin na swipe nila card ko manloloko talaga ang manila bankers insurance na ito, bakit wala magawa ang government natin para matigil ang marketing strategy na panloloko ng manila bankers insurance na ito sila lang gumagawa nito, until now pinipilit ako na charge sa credit card ko… lokohin nila lelang nila there was a fraud sa gawa nila

            Hi Good day.I just wanna ask po kung pwede macancel ang life insurance within 24hours upon signing the contract.Ang nangayri po kasi sa mall may inaalok na libre bag depende sa qualification ng debit/credit card.Dahil qualified po ako sinama po ako sa office for seminar.After seminar,di pa nagdedecide kung kukuha,marketing strategy is papipirmhin ng paper regarding magtransact sa card.Minamadali po at dinidistract ng agent at manager.Pipilitin parin kahit ayaw wala naman daw po mawawala kung susubukan.The word is “try” swipe kung qualified and card pag hindi punitin paper.Then nagqualified debit card ko transact is 42,600 wala naman po sinabi na di na mavovoid o cancel ang transaction.Wala pong choice kundi kunin na ang life insurance.Mismong manager kausap ko wala daw po xa option o maitutulong para macancel kundi life insurance lang daw.I was so disaappointed di muna tinanong kung gusto ko talaga kumuha.and wala silang bracket or option babayaran or paper bracket ng payment.sila na magsasabi ng price 42,600.Pwede ko po ba macancel ang life insurance kahit nakapirma na ako ng contract?Kelangan ko po pirmahan kasi wala akong panghahawakan sa pagalis ko kung iiwan ko lang yung pera ko.Debit card po yung ginamit sakin,wala nadaw magagawa para maicancel ang transaction dahil automatic daw.Pede ko po ba ican el nalang life insurance wala pang 24hours?Maraming salamat po.

            Sht!!! Just saw these reviews!!! Same thing happened to me sa market market last Feb 16, 2016. Nakita ako ng agent na nag cardless deposit sa MARKET MARKET tas yung baklang agent na yun nagpa fill up saken ng raffle chever para may free bag daw ako then pina attend nila ako ng seminar. I don’t want to be rude and wala naman akong gagawin so I decided to finish their 45 min presentation daw then they borrowed my debit card, TRY LANG DAW IF PAPAYAG YUNG BANK KO tas WTF NAGULAT NALANG AKO NA SWIPE NA YUNG 28K + so no choice na?! Goodbye 28K na pinaghirapan ko pong ipunin. Can’t believe na nabudol budol ako :'(

          This is true, same shit happens to me. I was in Market Market yesterday (10/13/2016) and a lady gave me flyers/ raffle stub. MB Life is located on the 3rd floor. She asked me if I had credit card/atm/checking account to check if I am legible to join the raffle. She insist to check my balance pero di ako pumayag. Tanong ng tanong if yung balance ko is above 10K. Di ako sumasagot. Guys this is a scam – don’t be fooled by raffle prices etc. Wag ilabas ang ID at atm/credit card. You may file a formal complaint to Insurance Commission – located in UN Avenue Manila. Few blocks aways form LRT Station lang. Malapit sa police station.

        Wqg kayo maniniwala sa mga scamners na yan, deceptive mga strategy nila, walang libre, pababayarin ka nila, este, check lang pala nila yung card mo para bawasan na agad ng balance mo. Wala manlang sabi2 na mag chacharge na pala sila, sabi i checheck langnila kung eligible you Acct mo, pagtapus pa nun, walang tanong tanong, biglang xerox ng card mo, after making you fill up your imformation in a form with all your information, which is all they need to charge you without you knowing, they wont even let you cancel even of it is less than 24 hours.. I say they would do anything to get your money, even if lying is one of them..

            Naloko dn po ako just today ? 31,900 binawas sakin dito sa robinsons galleria… ang sabi ichecheck lang kng qualified ung card ko tapos biglang trinansact na pala nila… ang napansin ko lang mahilig sila mantapik ng kamay at nagaabrasa every 5 mins.. wala nman akong balak pero d ko alam bakit sumunod ako dun sa bakla na namimigay ng flyer tas pagdating sa ofis nila may seminar pala tas mabilisan ndi man lng inexplain anu ung mga form basta lang pinafill upon.. sabi ko ayoko magparegister tas ang sabj ni jjay ang pangalan ung nagseminar ichecheck lang daw ung atm tas biglang binigyan na ako ng policy kit nila..

          dito sa baguio muntikan na ako maisahan. nakalimutan ko name ng company pero same system with manila bankers. once makuha nila attention niyo, aggressive sila sa pag push ng product / service nila. (payong lang ang ino-offer ng ‘libre’ sa simula) hindi ko alam kung anu nakain ko, pero nung naupo ako sa table, nagsimula ng magtanong sa credit card ko. nung umpisa, mahinahon pero merong pilit. nung tumatagal, nagiging aggressive ang mokong. buti nalang nagawa kong tumayo at lumayo.

        The 15 day cooling off period is mandatory sa mga policy ng lahat ng insurance yata, but am not that sure though. So to answer your question. Yes regardless what branch, iisa lang naman ang policy nila. Mandated yan ng INSURANCE COMMISSION.

            Gumawa ako ng letter of cancellation . . . Kapag di nila to tinangap . dadalhin ko totoo sa main office nila at sa IC .. gusto mo ba sumama ? Sabay tau mag complain

            I think it will be faster if you direct the cancellation request to main office. You can email and ask for acknowledgement of the receipt of the email, or you can do hard copy two copies isa sayo isa sa kanila, pero you have to let your copies sign by them na na receive nila with date…then mag antay ka na dahil pababalikin ka sa branch kung saan ka nag sign ng policy mo at papasulatin ka nila ng statement na they tried to convince you not to cancel the policy but you are firm you are not ready to take it yet. After nun wait ka ulit kasi tatawag na sila sayo to sign quitclaim and pay 250 cancellation fee. The i pro process na yung papers mo. ganun ang nangyari sa akin kasi.

            Shyne sana pinababalik ka para gumawa ka ng sulat na they tried to convince you to keep the policy but you refused. Kasi required sa kanila na i sustain muna ang policy kung ma sa save pa pero kung hindi na saka nila i ca cancel. SOP lang nila yun. So kung pinagawa ka ng sulat when you go there, i pro process na yung cancellation mo for sure.

            Kung kahapon lang siya gumawa ka ng sulat agad and make 3 copies. Sa akin kasi pina mail ke irene dayao. sa kanya mo i attention. sabihin mo na mapilit yung agent at di ka na nagkaroon ng time makapag isip at gusto mo nang i cancel, and indicate you are aware that within 15 days of purchasing the insurance, you are allowed to cancel it as mandated by the insurance commission, kung madadala mo ang sulat para i receive nila, yung copy mo para me proof ka na na receive nila agad yung cancellation request mo. minda.salon@mblife.com.ph at customercare@mblife.com.phjan ako nag email kasi si minda ata ang in charge sa processing ng cancellation at si irene dayao ata ang region head. after nun, tatawagan ka nila para pumunta ka sa office kuing saan ka nag sign para mag submit ng sulat stating pinilit kang i maintain yung policy ulit but ayaw mo na talaga, then tatawagan ka ulit para mag sign na ng quitclaim sa kanila,.The i pro process na yung papers mo. dapat matapos mo lahat yan within 15 days kaya habang hindi sila tumatawag pabalik sayo, i follow up mo lang sa kanila.     It’s not just insurance companies po who are using these strategies. Got the same calls and texts for other unrelated products and promos. Unfortunately, if you have a landline it is automatically listed in a directory that is publicly accessible even to these people. I asked PLDT to remove my number and they said they did but I still got these people calling me from out of the blue. What I also know is that credit investigators do have your information floating around somewhere and they share that information for background investigation purposes – when you apply for credit cards and stuff like that – so these people might have gotten to that.

    But the “big time” insurance companies like Philam and Sunlife do not do this kind of thing, at least their legit agents don’t. You have to go through hoops and huge mountains to get approved for insurance plans with them.

    So if people come along saying that you “won” or was “chosen” for something that’s too good to be true, it’s probably best to do your homework and check it out first before going or agreeing to anything. I nearly went just so they will stop bugging me. Good thing I was too tired to go yesterday.

          If you had been invited to sign-up an insurance w/ them, or probably you had already using your credit card, well im pretty sure that’s why they had our numbers.

          I suggest, you make a call at their office to check the validity of this message..God bless.
